I have never moded anything like a impeller or anything. But i am a person that says if it can it will. I don't see why not. as long as you stay within the inner walls of the pump you should be just fine right???

you think this will make a difference, or i need to add more fishing string?..mybe i should just put it back in the pump now and see what this baby can do

I don't think thats going to make a difference on your skimmer because the ventura is on the output side of the pump, but you could probably drill a hole on the intake side between the union and pump and glue a barbed fitting in to it for a ventura witch would allow the impeller to draw in and chop up the air. I also did a mod to an impeller like yours but I cut strips off of the blades so there was only a small pin left on each blade and put 3 layers of PF4 mesh with zip strips and used the pump as a recurc. on my NW200 and it works great.

You need to grind the paddles down and then zip tie the mesh onto the wheel. I can't beleive the terminator has a pump without a NW... Wow!

And the ventura should be on the intake of the pump to really make it work properly. If you need pics of what he is talking about let me know and I will post them for you.

To add, moving the air intake as marineduud suggested would likely make a HUGE increase on that skimmer. I would try it first with your fishing line mod. I'm betting you will see a huge increase in performance.

yes please show me a pic of the ventura...is that the spot where my air too connects too?.. a pic would deff help
thanks....ill be giving the skimmer a try with the new mod in about an hr.. ill let you know if it made any difference

i just put it back together and plugged it back in.. i noticed it hummed for about 5 min be4 it got quiet again..is that normal?..did anyones hum for a few minutes first?
i also broke a part but crazy glued it back, it was a lil nipple on some part..heres the pic..im not sure if this is the venture your talking about.. its the part where the hose goes for adjusting the air
