you know Whiskey if i was any good at being a mod i would start duplicated your threads all over the place just to mess with you.

Kim- i also would be surprised if your chiller had a pump in it for moving water. it would be handy to have one in it, but just another complexity that the chiller manufacturer would rather put on you than on themselves.

as for your lifters. are these just elongated strainers? these are not overflows correct? it is not a good idea to run a pump directly off of an overflow unless you are absolutely positive of the GPH ratings. a pump will pull on the first overflow a lot more than the second, so it could easily run that one dry and cause a horrendous bubble problem in the tank. think of one really big needlewheel skimmer.

Your chiller has a pump built in?? Really? If so than what you have done might work, but I would really double check that it has a pump built in, because I've never heard of that before. It will have a compressor and such for pumping freon, but not to pump water through it.
Yup! that is exactly what I thought....compressor...pump...it was all the same to me....lol Thanks for mentioning this Whiskey!

The lifters in my tank are elongated strainers, the intakes for my Closed Loop.

My drain is gravity fed. I will also have a Durso Standpipe modification.

Drats!!! I need to charge my camera battery. I would post pics, but it will have to wait.

I appreciate the help guys!
