Building new sump........

Hello, i have been tossing some ideas around. I would like to make a new sump to be able to handle an ASM G3 skimmer. I hear they need about a 10x10 area for the skimmer to sit. So here is a design i made in MS paint i know it sucks but let me know what you think and if i need to make any changes to it. Im not sure if i am going to be building this myself or if someone will be doing it for me. I know a guy in Sarasota that might do it for free if i am lucky. I sent him an email with the design to see what he says. If i can get it for free then i am going that way. If not i will be building it myself.

Ohh yeah 23" is the max i can go in length. I have an external pump that i have to work around. I may even go with 21" to give me some extra room.
