Another baffle question

How high(over)/low(under) should the baffles be placed? The sump is 11-1/2 inches across and the water level is 7-8 inches high if that makes any difference.

i like to space my baffles 2 inches apart from each other. i also like to keep the over under distance 2 inches also. if the water level is 8 inches than the under baffles should be at least 9 inches high and the over should be 5 inches. this over baffle is really the water height controller.
