Additives for salt water

I use a product called Supperthrive for my salt tank.
I mix about 1 cc every time I change the water.
it adds groth hormones 50 diff types, and trace minrals to the water.
Makes a big diffrence espcialy in alge and plants. Be prepard to clean your glass once a day. Also algea works so fast it will form air bubbles all over the alge wich can be fatel to brine shrimp and other tine animals.

sounds like a phosphate suppliment. i would be worried about using it. if you have a substrate of any kind it will be absorbed by it. it will eventually fill it up and create algae problems leading to a SB replacement sooner than normal.

what exactly does it contain? i recommend not adding anything to your system that you do not have a test kit for.

It doesnt cantian any fertlizer. For plant's your spose to use "with fertlizer". It makes algea work so fast bubbles form on them.

do you have a link for this product? there are a lot of reasons why bubbles can form on submerged surfaces in a reef tank. most of them not very good.

I honestly don't think that is the greatest thing to put into your tank. Mainly for the reasons that Geoff previously stated.

both algae and corals need phosphates for growth. the problem is that the algae will uptake it faster than the corals will, so they will grow faster and take over the tank.

Fish poo has phosphrate in it right?

fish poo also does contain phosphates, correct.

Is their any thing i can add to help grow my corals hard and soft? What about trace minrals and vitamins? I use Coral life salt for my tank salt.

as long as you do weekly water changes than you will not need to add any suppliments.
