Adding 30W 50/50 to 150W HQI

Hey all, I decided I wanted a bit of actinic and a bit of 6000k light in my nano to help lighten up the 14000k HQI and help the coral colors POP a bit.

I decided to get two of the 18" 15W coralife fixtures and modify them. Sorry, but I dont have pictures of the build in progress, but I show some at the end...

1) Gut the coralife fixtures.
2) Use a dremel with a cut off wheel to cut the plastic fixtures in half, leaving the vertical wall that separated the lamp area from the ballast area. Discard the section of plastic that held the ballast.
3) Attach the plastic fixtures to the sides of the HQI hood with small screws and nuts.
4) Make note of the wiring diagram of the coralife fixtures. Cut the wires apart and re-assemble inside the HQI hood.
5) Mount the ballasts using some small sheet metal screws to the extrusion channels inside the hood.
6) Button it up!
7) Enjoy!

I was just wondering if there are any updates on this, pics of the finished product would be great. I have been considering doing the same with my own 24gal Aquapod 150w HQI but with two actinics instead.
