2-10 gallon set up

I have 2 10 gal tanks, I am planning on putting them both under my tank and using 1 for a sump to hold a skimmer, heater and UV filter and the other for a refugium, anyone have a diagram on the best way to do this???? They are not drilled, I pland on using a overflow from the tank and pumps to go between the 10's and the display.

You probably would be much better to just get like a 20 long or something and set that up with baffles. Less issues and the tank is cheap! Probably cheaper than buying an overflow! Plus easier!

Make a section on one side where the skimmer will sit. Also this is where the water from the verflow will empty. Make the compartment wide enough to hold the skimmer and a pump to feed the UV sterilizer.

Use three baffles.....and over-under-over...the first over will set the water level in the skimmer section so set accordingly.

Keep the baffles about 1.5-2" apart and about 1.5-2" gap under the uder baffle.

I wouldn't do the fudge.....and just put your return pump in the last section of the sump. also your heater can go anywhere really!
