125 Gallon DIY Canopy

Hey guys,

Any ideas on a canopy for a 125 gallon tank. My tank came with stand and canopy but the canopy is not capable of housing Halides. It's not tall enough to keep halides away from acrylic tank. I don't need anything complicated or fancy. Just something that looks nice. The tank is 72"x18" Any suggestions on where to go for ideas?

That was built for a 29... just make it bigger to fit your tank.. taller, longer and deeper..

Hey, I noticed your post after I posted what I was doing yesterday. I did not build my fixture, but it was built by another DIYer who sold me his setup.

I made something cool as far as how to mount a hanging fixture. Check it out, maybe it would work for you too

And yes, this could a shameless plug to promote my new thread, or maybe I just think my idea could work for you too? I will let you decide.
