What kind of camera are you using?
If it takes a grey card like the high end Nikon's that can be a trick. But if you are using one that will accept a white balance (as opposed to a grey card balance) I have had luck using a 2" piece of PVC that has been cleaned prior with acetone. Use the macro to fill the viewfinder with the PVC, set that as your white. JME. I use Cannon's, usually the old school Rebel. I do like the Nikon D1X and pull it out on occasion, but the Cannon's ahve my heart. The new TI looks nice, to bad the next lens I want is $1500.
