Well, Mrs. Amy, you've had it in your hands, which never helps. While it's not super extravegant, I think one of our friends invites us to their family get togethers so she can use it!

For this shot I used the Canon XTi (400d) with the 100mm Canon macro lens.

Hi !!! I'm the newest newbie here !! I'm wondering if you could tell me what kind of animal this is? I've seen some similar but defiantly not with these STUNNING colors!!! At the end of the year or the first of next year when my tank will be fully established would you let me purchase a frag of it from you? ... or is it easy to find these colors in this animal? Thank a lot!

Sure, these (as Kelli said) are a zoanthid polyp. While they come in many different colors, this one in particular is known commonly as "eagle eyes" or "orange eagle eyes" (there's a red variant as well). Don't let the picture fool you, though, each polyp is only about ~1/4" across. They are relatively common, I imagine you can get them in your area. Check for for a local club or message board, but if all else fails we can probably work something out.

And thanks, fisher125!
