Sony DSC-T1

Can't seem to get a good pic with this camera, any tips?
I tried looking through the search tool, but came back blank with this camera.

what kind of pics are you trying to get. i have found the Sony's are not real good at doing aquarium pics. i have a DSC-F707 and i can not get real good aquarium shots. even the macros are not real close. the Sony's make great people shots and large outdoor photos, but the more intricate stuff they seem to fall short on.

do you set your white balance?
