When I try to take pictures with my digital Canon PowerShot S100 they turn out blue, any tips?

Sounds like a color balance issue. I'm not to familiar with the S100. There is probably a way to manually set the white balance. Do you have the owners manual?

Ok just did a little research on the camera. It seems as tho there is only 4 preset positions for the white balance and no manual over ride. Try all four and use the one that looks more natural. You will probably have to use software to correct it farther.

No prob. You also mentioned in your PM that you had problems with blurry pictures. This might be due to a couple of things. It could be due to the slow shutter speed in which case you should try using a tripod. Or it could be that the pictures are out of focus, this could be because you are so close to the tank and need to switch your camera to macro mode (your camera has it). It might be both or something else, the only way to tell is to post a picture so I can look at it.
