New Way of Taking Night Shots

Maybe this isn't new, but it is to me. I set up my D40 and rigged up a 10mm "Blue" LED that has very intense actinic effects. Currently it is run in a 2 cell AA Maglight. It peaks around 470nm, but is a very intense pure blue light. Here is a sample. Not the best photo, but just using it to illustrate the great actinic effects. Anyone have any experience that they would like to share on taking shots of fluorescence.
