Maybe clean the glass before you take a pix
How are those two getting along - being so close together the rose and elegance corals - well it does in the first pix I would think that there is a lot of warfare going on.

well, regarding the glass cleaning, while i was out on my back surgery, some type of conch or something chewed up the front view of my tank, so the regular algae gets into the crevices, even though i clean the chewed trail is still there but, besides that i have seen other reefers pics and they look great with closeup shots, so was thinking what kind of camera everyone is using..

thats not a elegance coral, its a new anenome i picked up its a ' neon rose anenome ', so thats why no chemical warfare, with the other rose.

That green one looks more like a sebae to me. Maybe one of the resident 'experts' can chime in on that one???
Nice looking tank though, even with the rough pics!

I have a Finepix 3.1mp and I had to toy around with my settings to find one that worked well with my tank. I also discoverd that the cammera defualts to a minimum 1.0 MP untill you reset that option.

The best camera in the world can't compensate for dirty glass, even if you do have a reason for it being that way. Do you use a tripod? Many of my pictures looked kinda murky when I tried to handhold the camera, cleared right up when I set the camera up on the tripod.

i guess might have to break out the tripod, just to give it a try, but maybe thinking of getting a bigger tank, so i can get away from that chewed front view, and more room of course.

are you familiar w/ all the manual features the camera has? does it have manual focus? I have the fuji finepix s5000, i set the focus with the automatic setting, then switch to manual setting and adjust the focus till what i want is crisp and clear
