My camera always makes my tank look way greener than it is....
its embarassing!
its bad enough i used to have an algae problem, i've kicked it and now it STILL looks like i have a greenish film all over everything... ya, my substrate has some greenish spots, but the camera makes it look like a solid green carpet.....

Here's my capnella.... it has developed 2 colors, the clump on the left is a nice anthelia pink and the one on the right is anthelia pink with an awesome green/mother of pearl glow to it, instead the camera makes the pink look brown and the pearly glow look like a stain

Thanks....
Yes, it is CC....its been in there forever and i planned to remove it all, just never got up the gumption to actually do it (i have BAGS of southdown just waiting for me to get on with it)..... its taken me so long to get it where i have it i didn't want to risk fish or shrooms and since i got rid of the useless fluval 304, my nitrates dropped to acceptable levels.... there's only 3 fish in there now

The problem is your white balance. Above is your image with the white balance adjusted. Most cameras have a few different settings for white balance. Try them all and see which works best.
The best bet though is to use a flash. Angle your camera either up or down so that the flash bounces away from the lens. With a flat tank you can shoot at a slight angle from the side of the tank, but with a bowfront you've got to shoot down or up.

There is a way for me to adjust the white balance, but my only options are as follows:
indoor
outdoor
hold
or
auto
Indoor makes it way too blue- though i got some awesome shots of my blue mushrooms a while back, in the gallery- they actually are that blue if the angle is right and the camera actually managed to catch it...
the "outdoor' setting gives me way too much of that green and then the hold and auto....i just don't know how to use those options
its an older Sony Mavca (MVC-FD92)
