kodak Z740

i have a kodak easy share Z740 5.0 mega pixel 10x zoom....i was wondering if anybody else has one of these and how well they take pictures cause everytime i take pictures of my tank with mine they never come out clear unless you zoom way out like a full tank shot...then you cant get pictures of the small stuff like zoos or mushrooms for example... any help is greatly appreciated thanks amanda

I'm not familiar with the Kodak cameras but most digicams have a macro mode for taking closeups. That allows you to focus at a closer distance when zooming in. There might be a button with a little flower on it to set macro or could be in the menues. Check your manual and see.
