Thumbs up

I need help picking out a camera

hello to all

I have a couple reef tank's and a peice of junk kodak digital camera. After seeing all the great pictures you people have taken i figured i better register and see if someone can help me out. I definetly want a digital and i want to be able to take very detailed close ups. But other than that I am lost as to what to look for. So I was wondering if someone could give me some pics and the brand of camera you are using. Also if you like it and would you have gotten something different.

TIA

T4k

What you want is a camera with a good optical zoom and a macro setting. The only thing between your subject and the film (CCD) is the lens. Olympus, Canon and Nikon have great optics. You can look threw some of the reviews here...

and get an idea of prices and features.
