Allow me to attempt a translation:

The clown goby could appear that it is being eaten/engulfed by the coral. If it were true, it might not be funny, but since it is not true.... I can see it as potentially funny.

Sometimes it is better to say nothing, than to bring attention to yourself as the only one "who did not get the joke". You will learn, "grasshopper"....
