Georgia Aquarium
Most of you most likely do not know that I am a diver at the GA Aquarium...
I have taken most likely 1000 pictures for people as I do my thing in the tanks but never have a picture of me....So I finally got some..
I am the one caring the long hose....

The coolest thing that has happened to me while in there was when I was cleaning the main viewing window.....Trixie the 22 feet whale shark was above me and Alice the 20 feet whale shark was below me..I was literally sandwiched between the 2 whale sharks...
Wow!!
Also, in the cold water gallery, Natasha the Beluga has taken a liking to me. When I dive in there she follows me and nips at my flippers and feet....Kinda wierd but hey, how many people have a Beluga whale messing with you everyday....
I am only a volunteer there but have done over 400 hours of service there....so when I get fired from my real job, maybe I can do this for a living...

Such a neat thing to do! That has to be a blast, swimming amongst your Beluga dnd Whale Shark buddies.
The burning question is; how well do you get along with the big sharks????

Well The Whale shark is the largest fish in the ocean!! They have Hammerheads, leopard Sharks, Black tip reef sharks, Wobbegongs, etc....
all are pussy cats, its the the Giant Grouper we have to watch out for , she has bitten at least 10 divers so far!
As for cleaning......exactly the same things we do on a LARGE scale...we vaccum the sand (but we use Crystal Springs 5 gal water jugs) twice a week
we scub the rocks
we clean the acrylic every day..feed the fish twice a day...
water tests. etc.....no difference
