I don't want to bring up a bad subject, but does the zoo still have any whale sharks? If they do, how is it doing?

BTW, I checked out all your pics. Very cool.

You have me confused Elegance.......the Zoo? What Zoo?

Atlanta Zoo? If so, it has no fish......and the Georgia Aqaurium is the only location in North America that has Whale Sharks....So I think you mean that.

IF so ALL Whale Sharks are doing WONDERFUL!!! Trixie, Alice, Taroko, and Yushan....growing and eating and enjoying there home.

I am only a volunteer there but have done over 400 hours of service there....so when I get fired from my real job, maybe I can do this for a living...[/quote]
That's funny. When I started this thread I was going to ask you how much YOU were paying for that job, but since you are a volunteer it sort of kills the joke.
Still a great way to spend your free time! I imagine there is a line out the back door and around the block to dive those tanks.

Surprisingly ..there is not....

Because you have to be a volunteer first...devote time on the floor talking to people, then you have to PAY for the dive physical yourself....pass the freaking dive test.(which I almost drown )........then do a minimum dive on a regular day in a rotation....for volunteer, its hard to devote a certain day every week..

ALL weekend dives are booked so you can't get a dive on the weekend because the original divers have them locked up.....so I dive during the week...because I work from home, it's easier for me than others.....

the Blackberry works no matter where I am even on the golf course...

So its not really that easy....
