For those of you who don't want to spend $$$ on Photoshop

Try GIMP (gnu image manipulation program) It's open source(free!) and has windows, mac and linux versions available. Having worked with both of them, I can say that GIMP compares really well to photoshop.

chris looks like a nice program but how the heck do you down load it?, when i click on a mirror i see a ton of various programs and folders

Presuming that you're on windows, click gimp for windows on the left side of the homepage. Then click automated installer. Then click Stable version.

On this page, there are 2 things you need to download. GTK+ 2 and The Gimp for Windows. In both cases, there is a link that says download. When you click download, you get a list of mirrors (they all have the same file, just different servers) Choose the one closest to you and click the little icon in the download column. Your download will start momentarily. Once it is downloaded, go back and download the other one.
