I'd like to upgrade from my 5 year old Sony 2.1 MP, and I hate trying to decide between cameras. I think I've finally narrowed it down to 4.

Panasonic FZ20
Nikon D70
Canon 300D
Canon 20D

I'm leaning to the FZ20 for a bunch of reasons, but since my wife has seen other pictures taken with a D70, she wants me to get that one. Even a side by side comparison at dpreview isn't helping me make up my mind.

I know Dick (Fishdaddy) has the D70, and Robert (Motorslave) has the 300D, anybody have the FZ20 or the 20D?

My plan is the 300D .. I am familiar with the name and have already invested in the Canon line of Lenses. I took some shot and I was sold.

Since I don't own any Canon or Nikon lenses, I've been trying to decide on what system I want to go with. They're all great cameras in their own rights. I finally decided to go with the Nikon D70....now just to save up enough money and still support the fish tank.

Santa came early...with a D70 and a 70-200mm zoom lens.

Just need to get some circular polarisers, UV filters, a spare battery and a new camera case.
