DC Reefers


Went to the National Zoo today, they have a new (to me) invert exhibit and obviously there are a few tanks there.

Anybody recognize this?

its one of those big-ass pretty looking Mantis Shrimp that you see every now and again at the LFS - like this. We had a pair at the LFS I worked at when I was in HS - they were those little compartment display tanks in rows over the bigger ones. One of them clubbed thru the glass partition and killed the smaller one next to it
