cant post pics


I am having trouble it says my pic is to big I have it resized to 800x600 it is a jpg file 185 KB (189,843 bytes) What am I doing wrong?

The pic needs to be down to 170K...drop another 15K off your pic size.

so it has to be 170kb not 185kb?

Yes. Use photoshop.. or photoedit program to shrink it.

techniner you should check out the above link to learn about optimization. It lets you keep a bigger picture size but allows you to reduce the size of the file...
