This camera is cheap compared to what you get today, but when I got it in 98 it was expensive. But I have taken many pictures and it still works ,The Sony FD83, a floppy disc camera

Heh!
Dick talked me into the D80 after complaining about the number of san I had to do when shooting film (Olympus 2N and old Nikon F4 body with many manual lenses for both camera systems). Of course he didn't tell me that in order to truely take dvanage of the new digital systm, that I would need to get the automatic focus lenses and VR, etc... I have pocket Nikon Coolpix nd hephone, too, but I just as soon not have cmera in my phone... Working on getting a 1:1 105mm lens for the system next, I my have to pull the big telephoto out for a manual session with the D80 sometime though...
I have to say, I do not regret buying the digital camera, but I still shoot a lot of film, too. In the long run, I hoot most of my aquarium shots nd stuff for the cars tht are ultimately intended for the 'Net with the Nikon D80, it is so much easier than messing with the entire process of getting a film shot on the Internet.

That's a classic, Vinnie! One of my friends had one of those. Took good pictures then and yours still does.

Tom, no such thing as 'Instant Gratification' with film cameras.
I broke over and gave myself a D200 for Valentine's Day. "Nothing says I love me like a Nikon."

I love that camera. I used a Friend's while on vacation and at that time, I was good for a box of floppies and a quick download at night.

I'm getting to be an old fart I guess since I grew up on 35mm...I miss my old 35mm with umpteen lenses to choose from, but developing film just doesn't have the same appeal these days...currently I have a middle of the road digi...basically point and shoot, but it does allow for some settings to be changed and does OK with macro shots...I'll have to upgrade to a decent DSLR some day when I'm feeling rich!

Good example is the picture attached was taken with my cell phone. Saw this while driving to school one day. I use a webcam to broadcast a live feed of my tanks from time to time i used to have it up constant but the computer that would host that cam on my network near that tank no longer works at this moment.
And well other yes there is always an other heheeh.
