Calling all NIKON D## users, lens help


i Have a D60 and i am looking for a quality macro lens. anybody know of one.
im looking to use it for my tank, and bugs, small things, people up close.

I have an earlier version of the Tamron 90. It's an outstanding lens and highly regarded. The newer AFII version is compatible with your D60.

Of course, you can't go wrong with the Nikon 105 VR but it's much pricier.

I'm not promoting either company but the links have good information about both lenses.

I have a Nikon D200 and a D90 but those do not require the AFII (AFS) lens capability.

I was going to suggest the Tamron as an affordable alternative to the Nikkor Macro, as well

sry for not posting, i have been gone for a while and not been able to get to a pc. thanks for the help fishdaddy. i was looking at the nikkor lenses 200mm wwith all that crap on it for $900.
