Why isnt the following statement true??? Re: subscribed threads

When I am subscribed to a thread and there is a reply, I get the email notification and at the bottom of the email is says the following:


There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.


It would be very cool if this was actually a true statement. But its not......they just keep coming.

Is there something in my settings I cant find that will make the system only email me once for each subscribed thread when there is a rep[ly until I visit again?....... or is that just a dirty cruel lie intended to cause me grief??

That is the way it works, with one caveat. It doesn't know if you've read that specific thread or not. So if you get an email, look at another part of the site, but not that thread, then someone else posts to the thread, you will get another email even though you haven't read the thread yet.

Other than that, it works as expected.
