Why can't I edit my tank specs?
There is no edit button.

yeah it sucks, but apparently they had problems with people editing posts and claiming they weren't saying such and such when they really were... so u have about an hour * i think that's what Rick told me* and then u can't edit anymore.
I am very careful what I say now since they changed that and I don't post as much.
I'm glad you think it sucks too. I would also like to edit my tank specs thread since I have a list of all my receipts, but I can't even update it.
I really hate this reef board for changing that, but I guess they have reasons.

I just found out that I have a 75 - not a 65 gallon

Thats why the blog featue was added.
Unfortunatly a handful of members with attitudes abused the edit feature and its been disabled

The replies aren't pesky... not being able to edit THAT post with my receipts is annoying... got everything totaled up and I can just go in and edit... but noooooooooooo... someone had to change something...
oh well, I'm over it.. I just don't post as much...
I'm glad Perry doesn't seem to mind.

Well not yours specifically but a bunch of your neighbors fueled the edit shutdown

Which ones because I'm ready to take them down?!?!
If they can't behave, then why not kick them off? Not fair to the others that use it the correct way. Or maybe only disable the feature for those people and not cut everyone off? I'm sure there is a way to setup 2 different levels- those with access and those without. I don't play with vBulletin too much, but I know it has lots of features and maybe that would be possible. Just my suggestion.

Nope. Unfortunately, it's not even possible to change that particular rule in different forums.
Well, technically it is possible, but it's not managable with 16,000 users.
