Where's the home page?

What happened to the old home page that listed the most recent posts at the top and random photos at the bottom? Whenever I go to www.thereeftank.com, I get redirected to www.thereeftank.com/forums/. This behavior started yeserday I believe.

The portal is not compatable with the new version of the software. It's also not terribly compatible with me. I have never liked how it works and I'm tired of fighting with it to try to make it work.

I am working on a custom homepage of my own. If you have specific features you'd like to see on it let me know and I'll do my best to accomodate if feasible. No promises, but I'll do my best.
