If there was a way to open up a previously viewed thread, and have it take you RIGHT to the post you were last viewing. Kind of like a bookmark for any given thread.

Meaning.....I open up a thread that currently has 18 posts. I read it.

A couple days later, I see that thread is up to 50 posts. But I can't remember how far along I was last time I read it.

If there was a way to bookmark post 18...then when I click the thread, it brings me right to post 19. Instead of me opening page after page trying to figure out where I last was.

This would be REALLY benificial in really long threads. Like the "Testing, Testing" thread...or the "EB/Coral controversy" thread.

If not a bookmark, at least open the thread up to the last post by me.

Meaning...If I post to a thread. then later open the thread, it should search for the last post by my user name...and take me to that page.


I know...way more work than it's worth, probably.

But felt like suggesting it....maybe in the far far future. hahaha

mike , it does that already.
also it you look at the top left corner, in a multi page post . you will see last unread post. if you click that it will automaticlly take you to the last post you read.
Although if you clear out your cookies, you may clear out the saved cookie info for that thread.

But it would be good to be able to mark ones you want.Say you answered it and want to go back to that certain one.

even that is already done for you. if you look in yoru Usercp. everythread you ever posted in and or started is under your specific profile.
to see any thread you have subscribed too and the last uread post. If it does not take you to it right away , you just have to click on the " last unread post" on the top left
