Ok, guys I need your help now... I’ve been working in my new reef aquarium project… I just finish the main tank, the Sump/Refugium, the canopy and the stand. I will make the skimmer and the Calcium Reactor If I need it…

Main Tank

The main tank is in acrylic and is 12" height, 12" width and 48" long, which holds 30 gallons…

I’m planning to have 35 to 40 pounds of live rock and 1 to 1.5" deep live sand.

Sump/Refugium

Both the refugium and sump hold 18 gallon total. The refugium has just 7.5 gallon

The refugium will have live sand, live rock, macro algae, and some inverts and detritus. Check list below. Also, the sump will hold a carbon pad.

Skimmer

I will do this http://www.tonmo.com/cephcare/DIYskimmer.php. This skimmer will work with a MAG 7

Lightning

Right now I have 2 Ahsupply 55watt bright kits. Each one will have 2 power compact bulbs. The the picture below.

I have 3 alternatives:

Option No. 1

2 Power compact bulbs 65 Watts 10000 K

2 Power compact bulbs 65 Watts true actinic

Option No. 2

2 Power compact bulbs 65 Watts 10000 K

2 Power compact bulbs 65 Watts 50/50 (˝ 10000K and ˝ actinic)

Option No. 3

2 Power compact bulbs 65 Watts 10000 K

2 Power compact bulbs 65 Watts true actinic

2 Fluorescents actinics 40 Watts

The option No. 3 is quite difficult because the canopy' space, but if you recommend me that, I'll install the bulbs.

Circulation

I have a MAG 7 and it is going to work as a returning pump... I will install a SCWD on that path. Also I will install a MAG 5 working as a returning pump also, constant flow.

Fish – Wish List

This is the fish list I like... I need your help to choose the right ones and the quantities of each one

Firefish (Up to 3" or 7.5 cm)

Hi Fin Red Banded Goby (Up to 2" or 5.0 cm)

Purple Firefish (Up to 3" or 7.5 cm)

Yellow Watchman Goby (Up to 3" or 7.5 cm)

Green Mandarin (Up to 4" or 10 cm)

Scooter Red Blenny (Up to 3" or 7.5 cm)

Spotted Mandarin (Up to 3" or 7.5 cm)

Ocellaris Clownfish (Up to 3.2" or 8.2 cm)

Royal Gramma Basslet (Up to 3" or 7.5 cm)

Clown Goby, Citrinis (Up to 2" or 5.0 cm)

Court Jester Goby (Up to 2" or 5.0 cm)

Inverts – Wish List

Main Tank...

1 Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

1 Emerald Mithrax Crab

10 Nassarius Snail

5 Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab

3 Mexican Turbo Snail

5 Dwarf Red Tip Hermit Crab

1 Orange Sea Star

1 Pincushion Urchin, Blue Tuxedo

Refugium...

2 Nassarius Snail

1 Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab

1 Sea Cucumber, Tiger Tai

1 Sand Sifting Sea Star

Corals – Wish List

Assortment of Ricoidea Florida

Assortment of Ricoidea Yuma

Assortment of Clavularia sp.

Assortment of Zoanthus sp.

Assortment of Rhodactis sp.

Assortment of Discosomas sp.

For this type of corals do I need Calcium Reactor (I have the cylinder, regulator, PH controler and bubble counter from my old planted tank ?

What combination of fish is the right one for the corals ?

What light option will you recommend me Is that enough for the corals I'm planning to have ?

Do I need more Inverts ?

In General, is this looking good for you ?

Any additional comments will be appreciated.

Seranko
