replying to PM's

Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm not very computer savvy.
I just tried to replay to a message and it shows up with my messages but when I click on their name it doesn't show up. I've clicked on other peoples names and I could see their messages.
Did I do something wrong?

Are you referring to PM'es or the messages on Profiles? If you view a profile there is a Message Box there but it isn't PM'es it lists there.

I got a message that showed up on my profile. There was a box above it where I could type a message. I typed the message and posted it. It shows up on my profile, but not the senders. Did I send myself a message?

You reply on your profile. If they are setup to get them, the person who you replied to gets a notification. If you want the message on there profile, you have to go post it on there profile. I think you can reply to a single "thread" type by clicking "view conversation" and then replying in that box.

I have never understood what the purpose of adding that box/chat to the profile window was.

Elegance i sent you a pm in reguards to my elegance coral.. I did what you had said and moved it to a lower area and reduiced my lighting hours. it seemed to be getting a little better but at thesame time looking worse. today i went and got some lugol's solution and i am now starting a 15min dip for the next 3 days. If there is an infection this should kill it.while it was in its dip i was suirting the medicated water on it to remove the mucus and was able to get alot off. what do you think? id hate to loose this coral..

So you did see my reply somehow. Sweet!

The mucous usually builds up over night the worst. Just make sure you remove it every morning. You're doing good so far. Just don't get your hopes up. It's in real bad shape.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

That's one subject I would not be replying to.

i got home this evening and my elegance looks much better.. I do see where it looks like it was starting to die. i think about 2-3inches of the end is dead wayto white. should i cut it off? or should i just eep doing the dips for the next to days and go from there?

If there is decomposing tissue, try to frag the coral making sure to remove ALL of the dead tissue. It's okay to remove some of the healthier looking tissue as long as you're sure you have removed all the decomposition. If it's not removed, it will simply keep spreading until the coral is a complete loss. Cut the flesh with a razor blade, and the skeleton with a wet tile saw, hack saw, or rotary tool.
