questions on forum use

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the whole forum thing (and reef tanks) I've been unable to figure out a few things. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but if it's not could you redirect me?
I can't find out where to add a signature The FAQ says to go to edit profile but unless i'm really missing the obvious I can't find anything about adding a signature.
Also for the photo gallery I can't find anyway to add a photo. I've been looking around the posts for info on this and it says click the upload photo button in the gallery and I just don't see it. I'd really appreciate some help I'm starting to feel more than a little dumb. Thanks Kelli

it is based on the number of posts you have. i will need to check to find out exactly what the number is, but i think it is relatively low. like 25.
