Pictures under my username?

Hello i have a weird question. Hope i can ask so you all can understand. I've been trying to put a picture for my username so that when i post comments on threads to the left of my comment under my username is a picture i can put. For example some people have these things, guy hanging by balloons, mug of foamy beer, their fishtanks, pictures of family etc. I tried doing the edit profile picture and i put a picture up but it doesn't display on any of my posts and it's really starting to ANNOY me. i'm not a computer person at all and sometimes i think life would be better w/out ha ha. pls help and thank you!

Click the User CP button (top blue bar on left), the scroll down the list of links until you see "edit avatar." That's what you want to change to show the avatar under your user name. Keep in mind avatars are pretty limited in pixel size, so you may need to resize your picture before it will allow you to upload it.

oh my gosh!! THANK YOU. I would NEVER of figured that out ...lol.
