Pic attachment not working
Ok, I'll try this. At about noon today I tried to attach some pics to my build thread, like I've done before. They failed, even though the status bar shows about a third red and more than two thirds green, the actual pic was sized the same way I sized them before, and was under the required 300k (it was 257k). The error message said I was 65k over. Since then I've posted requests for help in my build thread (a little after noon), started a separate thread on the issue and hit the contact button reqestin assistance on the issue.
I'm hoping someone can help to correct this problem, and help to answer a couple of questions:
1. Where can I find information on what the "quota" is?
2: Where can I find information on the status bar, and what the red and green bars mean?

While this has been a nagging issue (and I'll go contact the admins to make certain they see this thread), I'll reiterate that a very acceptable solution is to use the TRT gallery.

Thanks, I used the solution yesterday. But in my mind just as with an aquarium the only acceptable solution to a problem is to fix the problem.

If you click reply (not quick reply) then click the attachment button you should be able to see it.

I have seen this same issue and I was trying to post to the TRT gallery. It said file was to large but the file size was way smaller than the max.

I reported to the admins, but I havent heard much since then. I would recommend using the gallery just for the convenience of how it hosts pictures.

I convert everything from RAW to JPG, so anything I try to put on TRT would be in .jpg
Hope this helps.
