I think overall our Mods do an excellent job of using a light touch. They do not put their personal opinions into moderating. Do I think mods have certain opinions? Well of course, we all have our own view. BUT.... I am not afraid to argue the opposite point with them either. that is not something I can say on other websites.

i think the mods do a great job and any info wether it works for me or not may work for someone else. the more info the better.

FWIW I find that a kind word in response will often defuse a situation, I think it's hard at times not to take things personal give n the limitations of the printed word to convey emotion

isn't that the truth, i can't count how many times a harmless comment in a text message to my wife turned into a "discussion"



i think the mods here are fantastic, my measure of this is how incredibly helpful this forum has been to my development from tropical systems to marine systems. i have never felt uncomfortable posting even the most obvious mistakes made on my behalf...the usual response to a mistake is "been there, done that, bought the t-shirt", if it wasn't for TRT i would have decimated the reefs with a tank of death...

i'm thankful for all the effort that goes into making this place so great, i don't know if anyone is doing this for money, but if they are, they deserve it.
