Before the upgrade, the reply box was right underneath the last post. Now, it has bookmarks, quotes and all kinds of things cluttering it up before you get to the reply box under a post.

Did something happen to the email notification system for new posts on subscribed threads? I don't seem to be getting any since early this morning.

To give the devil his due, I don't get email notifications anymore. Too lazy to update my email address. But, the last time I was having email notification problems, it wasn't TRT, it was my cable company having issues. It could be something other than TRT having a problem.

Are you referring to posting the code for an image into the box? I noticed that and just got in the habit of going to preview it first, then finishing my post. It allows me to see the picture and to make sure it is the right picture.

Tim, there is an event that happens when you paste into an editing box. The onpaste event. Setting the onpaste event to a function that would show the picture is the solution. The programmers will know what it means

onpaste="showPicture()"

function showPicture(){
//code to scan for img code
//code to remove img code and insert image.
}

It's going to be the same code it uses for preview mode. It just needs to be triggered onpaste.

Trying to poll the editing box for image code would slow it down too much.

Thats one of the things that I dont like. I guess it could be below the reply box or to the side of it...

I'm not saying they are useless because I've used the similar threads links several times already but it just looks too cluttered...

Same situation here still. No email notifications whatsoever for the past 3 days.

#1 Sign of a TRT Addict: You read the posts before the email can possibly get to you because you spend too much time on TRT.

Don't ask how I know that or why I don't want the email notifications anymore.
