On some site ( not all aquarist site mind you) They hold auctions at a certain time during the month.. any of those on the site .

Okay... While were on that subject... I saw the thebubbler.com was having a members only website auction. They had it set up in its own Forum and each thread was a different item that was up for auction. I believe thats a great idea for TRT! Heck you could advertise it for a while and bring people to this site to better our knowlegde and theirs. The auction didnt have any livestock (i believe) but consisted of dry goods and other random things that didnt even pertain to aquariums, it had the starting price (some had reserves kinda like ebay) and the shipping price listed. I think a members only auction would be a great thing for us (the sellers and purchasers), the TRT's sponsers and the site itself! Heck, Id even be willing to help plan/organize it.

Since i'm a sailor and am on shore leave for just a bit, i can't think of anybody else that could pull this off but you Zach. Go for it i second and help when ever i'm on leave.

well the auction on the bubbler is not to bring members to that forum. It is sponcered by that forum to help fund the aquatic rescue. It was easier and cheeper for her to do it there then on ebay.
