Fix the Control Panel
Subscribe to 100 threads.
Go to Control Panel.
Read all threads.
Close browser. (pick a browser, it isn't browser specific).
Re-open browser.
Go to Control Panel.
It will show the threads as being un-read even though you have read them.
Any plans on fixing this issue?

I considered that. 4 different browsers on my PC, 3 different browsers on my wifes PC, and 2 different browsers on a friends PC and they all do the same thing. The control panel doesn't show them as read, shows them as unread.
Mine:
IE7
Safari 3 for Win
Opera 9.26
Firefox 2.0
My wifes:
IE6
Firefox 1.5
Opera 9.26
Friends:
IE7
Firefox2.0
The add-on toolbar I have for FF2.0 on my PC shows that the cookies are being set. Some have Session Expiration dates and some don't.
All of the browsers I tested it with have default security settings to allow cookies. If there is a setting that I need to change, then I can change it. I have checked all of the cookie settings and none of them are set so that it should get them anew.

Maybe in one of my all night fits I will look at the JS code that the Control Panel uses to see what it is doing and see if I can figure out where it is going wrong. Something is going wrong and it makes it very annoying when you open the Control Panel and half the threads show as Unread and I am the last person to post in that thread and I know I read it before I closed the browser

OK, just tried it on a brand new computer with IE7 and Vista and it is doing the same thing. Close IE, re-open IE and any threads in the Control Panel are showing as not read.

Thanks tim. If I only got it every now and then, it wouldn't bother me. But I get it no matter what I do. And I have talked to several others (will see if I can get them to post here as well) that have the same problem with it. It isn't so bad if the CP gets cleaned out from old threads but when there are 30 or so threads there and I have to go through everyone of them again and 2/3 (or more) have already been read, it gets frustrating.
