FAQ section

Howdy TRT Mods,
I know we have an faq ion the top bar on the site, but how about a section with stickes on some of teh most commonly asked questions...
cycling
basic tank set up; you know bioballs are bad, why did the LFS sell you a canister, no take that back and get a skimmer...

curing/ cooking rock
lighting
flow
cls
substrate
or even putting all the 101 threads in teh same place where it is easy to find them?

In the 6 months or so I have been on here it seems like reefers go through the same phases of questions.
is this a good set up
do I have enought light
do I have enough flow
should I get a skimmer - which one should I get

Just a thought....

this is what we hoped the archive section would help with. being a board that is willing to help the beginner, questions like that may seem obvious to you now, but when you first start looking at reefing they might not cross your mind at all. i think some of these questions will just have to be answered several times a year for each new wave of members.

maybe we could come up with a FAQ archive.

Geoff, A faq with stickeies is what I was thinking...
as a newbie myself I usually search first, can't find what I am looking for 'cause I don't know enough and then ask the question on the borads... people will still ask, and it gives newbies like me a good chance to help out as well, but for teh readers that never eask a stickey board might help answer questions they don't post?!

We are currently working on the FAQ section and will be adding a WHOLE lot more to it real soon i hope.
