Question

did i do something?


or did the way the attachments open change?
now each time i click on an attachment ( say a picture) it opens in the main window and i must use the back button in order to get back to the thread i was in.

Sounds like you are using firefox and played with some settings.

greg i am using IE. and comcast cable internet( cable) it happened about a week ago and has not stopped since. i wil take a look at the IE settings.

ditto, i think it happened when you brought the home page back on line. i figured it was me, since i am always mucking with my settings, but i just tried it on an old machine i had lying around and it did the same thing. it is like the click on link-open new window setting has been changed. i thought this would have been a client setting though.

I did an emergency security upgrade last week that must have changed the attachment template.

No, nothing bad happened. But the upgrade was to make sure it doesn't.
