Delay in getting post notices....

About 2 weeks ago, I started getting all my subscription thread notices about 12-24 hours after they are posted...what changed?

Prior to this, it was immediate...someone would post and my e-mail would alert me..

BTW, my e-mail is geshields@aol.com

We did move to a new server around two weeks ago, but it sends the emails immediately. Perhaps your ISP is holding up email from our IP range?

oops, didn't notice you posted aol. That's probably part of the problem. I'll see if I can work it from my end, but no guarantee's with aol. They are a real PITA to work with.

Just checked my e-mail this morning and I got 28 PM notices or post notices last night between 11:48pm and 11:50pm. Any solution...that is ridiculous....

I don't have a guaranteed shorterm solution other than to use a non AOL account. I haven't even gotten a response from them yet...

Hi Gregt,

I too am having this same problem... I am not notified of posts or PMS until about 24 hours later , it is driving me crazy... I am also on AOL... any solution???

After I changed the e-mail to aol I never received the link to reactivate so I could post, etc. It went to AOL for 3 1/2 hours and no link. Not even i spam folder..I just changed it back to my old e-mail.

I am still not getting notifications, sometimes not for a few days, on Monday I had 52 emails for notifications from all last week that, of course, I had already read...

I found another maze of aol beaurocracy that may result in a solution. We'll see....
