Question

2004 TheReefTank Calendar?

....featuring your images.

I'm looking in to making a full-color, high quality, 2004 calendar with reef tank images provided by TRT members.

I'd like to know what the interest is before committing to having the calendars printed. I'm not sure what the cost per calendar will be yet so I'm adding some thresholds to get a better idea of whether this is feasible or not.

Thanks!

How about the TOMs from the previous year with the equipment specs in the border. If we don't have enough TOM's, don't remember when this started back up, go for the big tanks, IE mojo, grigor. It gives all of us those silly happy day dreams. Makes the winters a little warmer. Just include plenty of DSB to keep Spanky excited!!

That's not a bad idea. Probably won't be able to get the photo quality from every tank though. It's going to take very good images to blow up to calendar size.

PS> Don't forget to vote on the poll.

Greg, there are enough of us out here, unfortunately me not included, to retake "hot" pics of these tanks. I'm sure that there are enough good phototgraphers out there to capture 12 tanks. I know that Bill's is covered in MN,and David G's is awesome too.
Jerel's is covered to get the "Starry" effect. That leaves 9 more. I can think of screen names, but don't want to butcher them, for more of these.

I'm not at all worried about finding enough pictures, just not sure we can go with one picture from every TOTM.

How about targeting the 12 most active states and highlighting the tanks from them?

This could get the various reef clubs active. Nothing wrong with a little rivalry.

Set up a by-partisan comitee to vote for the best club pages/colages.

Greg, we can pass this between the two of us all night!

I think it is a great idea as my current calender is photo shots of the solomon island reefs. I would love something to strive for, like TOM. I have see so many beautiful tanks on this board and they are really worthy of a calender...
