will aptaisa hurt fish?

i'm wondering if aptaisa will hurt FISH or inverts such as snails, crabs, shrimp, etc...

i'm wondering because....i really like the way aptaisa looks. and it seems pretty hardy and i'm wondering if i might have an easier time raising a bunch of aptaisa instead of trying to raise corals.... seems like aptaisa might be cheaper too since eveyron wants to kill it or get rid of it. also seems like a good alternative to trying to keep an anenome alive. but i dont want to do it, if they will hurt my bottom dwellars or my fish.

or should i put all this money i've spent to good use, and patiently do a real reef instead of a pest tank

Not to be a smart a@@ but when you step on a Thistle does it hurt?? Think of Aipt@#$ as that. It spreads just as fast as that weed and stings every bit as much as it too.

If you got it I strongly suggest a Peppermint shrimp. I bought a great LR from a LFS that had 2 small polyp colonies on it and some Aipt@#$ on it. I got that perppermint and had the junk wiped out inside of a month.

no. dont have any aptaisa....yet.....

was jsut curious about having IT instead of corals.

though i did trade in big hairy the hermit today for a peppermint..

so i guess i'm set for the future

With all the mods you have done, do with a reef/corals. Go with LPS, shrooms....

Jay the decision is yours and believe it or not there have been reports of LFS exactly selling these pests!! I am trying like heck to get rid of mine. They do look neat is one respect but when I look at my corals they don't hold a candle to them in any way, shape or form!
