Spiderweb-like substance.

I have a newly set up tank (3weeks now) with live rock and a few damsels. I have noticed what looks like spiderwebs collecting on some of the live rock. Can anyone tell me what this is.

Someone wrote on another site I was reading one time and this person asked about spider like substance on his LR. Bob Fenner wrote:

Probably just the feeding end of some species of non-motile (sedentariate) segmented worm (polychaete)... same phylum as the bristle worms of so many species, but not harmful at all. Enjoy it! As it lays out those "tentacles" and swipes them back over its "mouth" to feed.

The only thing I can say about it is that it is very thin and comes right off the rock with a turkey baster. But it appears again fairly quick. (Overnight) I have yet to see any worm or other creature leaving it . I just dont want my tank to get overrun by it, because it seems to be going to other rocks.

How cured is your LR? (this doesn't pretain to Casey)

Reason for my question is at the shop we would get hundreds and hundreds of fresh out of the ocean LR... about 3 weeks into the curing process, the places that did not have good water movement began to mold, looked exactly like your pic. Added more water movement and it went away, never to be seen again.
