Life after the six foot worm
As many of you are aware, last Sunday I had to remove all my rocks and corals to remove that monster 6 foot worm from my PVC rock supporting structure. Naturally, such a drastic action meant a complete reaquascaping of the system with some corals being trimmed and others destroyed or eliminated. You can never return the tank to the way it was...only try to come close. I thought I would post a "before worm" photo and a "post worm" photo:

Not that it looked bad or anything before Steve, but I like the more open look it has now myself! Bet all those anthias are thanking you for the swimming room!
Ya know, as much as I stare at my tank now (and it's a measley 135) I bet you never stop finding new things in there. Obviously, a 6' worm is quite a find!! Looks great Steve!

Steve, you did a great job putting it back together. Did you look at "before" pics to help you reconstruct?
The corals look good! I hope your losses were minimal. Please tell me your little arrow head wrasse came through with flying colors; he's such a cool little fish. I've been looking for one...no luck so far!

Alice, yes...the arrowhead wrasse is doing fine. By the way, Waves has a few ...they're in the small tank by the register.

Oh yeh...what was the name attached to that worm? Was it an ugly cousin to the Loch Ness Monster, or what?

you should put it in a bottle of tequila, and then take it back to the distiller, just like the movie "strange brew", aye, and try to get more free tequila, aye...

After three days in a bucket and tour of the LFS's....he went out with the trash.
Ylmaya: here he is...keep in mind that I broke off an 18 inch section of his tail getting him out of the PVC tubing and should have added that for the picture, but, I didn't.
