just my 2 cents,,, in my experience, i had 3 three emeralds in my 75 for hopefully bubble
algae control,,, not sure if they ever ate bubble, but after my wife figured out that the reason the candycane corals in the tank were looking "bad/dying" due to her watching the lil buggers munch and pull apart the polyps, plus the fact that she also saw one "de-plume" her favorite feather duster

. needless to say i had to remove darn near all of the LR to get them removed, only to give my
clown trigger in my 180 FO a live food treat,,my wife said." better to get rid of $5 crabs then watch them eat up $$$$ worth of coral. bottom line , not every thing is 100% a sure thing as far as it goes,,i'm sure there is a lot of good clean up crew member in our reef tanks, just stressing the fact that nothing is a sure thing. good luck
