i'll tell y'all about my tanks (and DONT laugh)
first i have a 10 gal. freshwater tank with a big huge old jack dempsey named "fluffy"...he used to live in the 55 with oscars, but all the oscars died (i'd had them over 6 years, and they were big when i got em, so pretty old) ANYHOO...fluffly likes the smaller tank much more it seems..he really started perking up after i put him a smaller more secure feeling place...he also likes the light the comes in from thw window...(not too much light, no algea probs)
NOW we get on to the creme of the crop, my 55 gallon salt water tank...ok i'm not going to brag, it's REALLY new...i started it may 3rd, the day after my step dad passed away...
i've got about 15 pounds of live rock (yes i know i need more, i'm just broke is all :P)
for fish i have:
4 perculas
1 yellow tang
1 royal gramma
1 blue damselfish
1 scooter blenny
i have:
20 astrea (sp?) snails
10 blue hermits
1 really bright red hermit crab (yeah really scientific name huh?)
1
skunk cleaner shrimp
1
peppermint shrimp
1 porcelain crab
2 hatian pink tip anenomes (for decoration i guess, as the clowns could care less of them)
i have a rock full of purply colored mushrooms, which have spread a tiny bit, i have one rock FULL of teeny featherdusters & one big one, on that rock is a reddish green single mushroom...i have a small rock that has like 3 different types of coral growing on it...i'd show you a pic, but my digital cam was stolen..i'd really like to know what these are growing on the rock...they're VERY small so far, but store said they'd grow...who knows, they look cool anyhoo...
yeah so that's my tank...i'm very proud to report i haven't had any deaths in a month!!
