Weird tank size?????

I was recently given a tank by my brother (who teaches at a local school) that he received from the science dept. in his highschool. I can't find the size specs for it on any website. It is an Oceanic that measures 48" long, 30-31" deep, and 15" wide. It seems really deep and narrow for any reef tank to me.... (unless I wanted the "leaning tower o' live rock")

How many gals. is this?

That is a 80 gallon tank

dont you want that to be in gallons liquid???
i did the conversion to gallons liquid and this is what i got
21600 cubic inch = 93.5064935 gallon [US, liquid]

so about 90 gal with 2 -3 inches of error space on top

Oceanic is known for making custom tanks, so it might be a tank your brothers school had specially made. but around 90 gals sounds right.
