i'm sorry if i'm doing this wrong, i'm also a member of a computer
forum.
we refer to our system specs. as our signiture.
i'm hoping this is doing the same thing.
Tank: 29 gal.
Filtration:Red Sea Prizm Protein Skimmer , Fuval 404 canister,
Approx: 25 lbs. of rock
Water movement: 3 Maxi-Jet 400 PH's
Lighting: 4 55w compact/fluorescent bulbs from hamilton tech 2x10,000K ,and 2x 03
plus 2 cooling fans

Sounds like a good start. I'd forget about putting the canister filter on the tank. Your rock and skimmer will be all you need. A lot of reefers say a skimmer isn't important on a tank that small. I'm split on that decision. I've run 20's with and without a skimmer, and didn't notice anything different. I use a canister for 1 hr a week, when I blow the detrius off the rock. Basically to help clean the water faster
